Please provide a short summary of the group’s reflections from the meeting that was held to complete the Club Assessment.
Where we are now. Currently we have a thriving club with regular members and a waiting list. While we are in a financially stable position we don’t have enough to buy another full target. We need to recruit more members even with our waiting list by creating more opportunities for disabled archery. We have been really successful in gaining grants. Our next big step is to acquire our own ground to build on or use as an outdoor range. Limiting Factors No disabled toilets no outdoor range limited opportunities to practice inaccessible to some groups We will need to find land We will need to apply for grants to improve the ground or build a range indoors We will need support from the local community As a club we are going to market our club effectively in the local community We are going to keep up to date with new initiatives from sporting bodies We are going to get our club to gold standard insport club.
